Naza Indigenous Community | Tolima, Colombia

A delightful pink bourbon which reminds us of hibiscus, red berries, cacao nibs and soft pink florals. A slight departure from the usual citrus forward pink bourbon variety, these beans were roasted for filter to promote the light tea-like body and soft acidity of this coffee.

The Naza community is based in the village of Gaitania in the Tolima department of the Andean region in Colombia. For these indigenous farmers, coffee is part of their history and their culture and their community bonds lead to collectively working towards high coffee quality. Some members of the community are experienced with coffee processing, and those skills are used to meticulously process and harvest their community’s lots, leading to exceptional cup quality and unique tasting profiles, exemplified in this semi washed lot.
